TheCommunications and Engagement Specialistis an importantmember of the Food Nation team. Youwill beresponsible forsupporting thedevelopment of theFood Nationbusiness and brand. As a young company with massive growth expectations both domestically and internationally, thisfunctionwill requireflexibility, initiativeandrelicapability along with exceptionalcommunicationsexpertise.
Our purpose is to redefinegreat food by delivering sustainableplant-locatedfood options to the world. You will need to believe in the purpose of the business as our belief in what we are doing is key to the culture of the Food Nation.
You will need to have practice in optomising social channels and a good knowledge of B-to-C communications with a focus on building high engagement. practice in graphic design would be advantageous. Food Nation is a start-up without large agencies to rely on, so you will need to be capable of bringing our brand values to life in our digital channels as a key means of building the Food Nation community domestically and off-shore.
The goal for this function is to build a highly engaged digital following positively impacting brand consciousness, trial and advocacy. The function is ideally suited to someone who has some flexibility in their hours or could work for someone who wants to work part time for us recognising the function may grow over the months ahead with some busy period and some quieter.
The function is located in Auckland.
CoreResponsibilitiesare not limited to but include the following;
   » Review and ensure website is optimised
   » Marketing and digital communications support
   » Development of social media strategy within a very tight budget
   » Development of material for use in social and digital communications
   » Development of edm strategy and execution
   » Development of adhoc marketing material as required.
   » Support of the launch of the new range coming to market over the next 6 months
Technical capcapability
practiced user of digital mktg platforms including
   » Mailchimp, Wordpress
   » Indesign, photoshop, illustrator, etc.
   » Social media management tools such as Social sprout, Youtube, Hootsuite,
   » Competent in all Microsoft Office standard systems
   » Writing and communications expertise and proven
   » Good knowledge of SEO and UX
   »
