We are preparing for a busy Summer with the border re-opening we are ready to welcome back our international tourists! We are on the hunt for two customer service representatives to be the first point of contact for our Adventure Park, Kayak Tour and Education Trust clients.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to -day sales of the Waimarino Group while maintaining a high standard of customer service even in a fast-paced environment.
 
Basic reception tasks include:
-          Greeting customers, you will be first point of contact for all clients in the Adventure Park, Kayak Tours and Education Trust in person and over the phone
-          Explaining and advising on products and services for the Adventure Park and Kayak Tours from developed in depth expertise of products and processes.
-          Taking bookings over the phone, email and in person including processing payments, bookings and invoicing
-          Safety Briefings
-          Communication with booking agents
-          Reception and office cleaning and maintenance and assisting the Office Manager with a variety of other tasks as required

Adventure Park tasks may include:
-          Operating Waimarino Adventure Park activities:
Rock Climbing           & nbsp;              &nb sp;            & nbsp;     The Blob             &nb sp;            & nbsp;    Kayak Slide
Floating Water Trampoline                  &nb sp;   Pedallos             &nb sp;            & nbsp;     High and low diving boards 
Gladiator Pole             ;            &nb sp;            & nbsp;        Slip ‘n’ slide             &nb sp;            Tarzan swing
Low Ropes Course           &nb sp;                      &nb sp;   Kayaks           &nb sp;            & nbsp;         SUP boards
-          Assisting with everyday start up and close down routines of the Adventure Park as well as general maintenance when needed.
Extra Opportunities
-     Being a support guide on our Kanu Tours
-     Being a support instructor on our School Programmes
 
Position Specifics
-     Seasonal work between October -April (For the right applicant we may be able to offer flexible start dates).
-     Rostered and varied workload with no fixed working schedule
-     Hours range from 35-60 a week during the peak season depending on your eargerness to take on new responsibilites

-            &n bsp;  Highly organised individual with an eye for detail, initiative and effective communication expertise.
-     Thrives working in a team environment and in a customer facing position
-     Technical skill and practice with Vend, Rezdy, Microsoft and Outlook preferred.
-     Exceptional safety consciousness and attention to detail.
-     Excellent written and verbal communication expertise
-     Tourism Industry and Customer Service practice preferred
-     Are physically fit and mentally alert
-     Enjoy the outdoors
-     Clean, Full drivers’ licence (capability to drive manual preferred)
-     First Aid Certificate

We operate 7 days per week and close Christmas Day only. The applicant will be required to work weekends and public holidays. Some 6-day weeks will also be required during our peak times of school holidays and Christmas holidays.
