Job Opportunity: Dairy Farm Worker:Job description:Dairy Farm WorkerPayment: Accommodation & Paid (25)Job location: Clydevale, Otago Region: Dunedin/Invercargill practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 23/09/2022 We are seeking for someone to join our team ASAP, ideally for 2-3 months at least. Your own comfortable and warm 1 bedroom cottage accommodation is furnished and available. We do live rurally and about 30mins from the closest towns with supermarkets, so a car would be handy for you to have. We are centrally located to the Catlins, Dunedin & Central Otago (Queenstown etc), so its not too far to go to explore on your days off. We have 570 cows. We milk through a 50 bale rotary shed - ideally some farm practice would be valuable so you can pick up the job easily but we are happy to train the right person. You will mainly be working along side one other team member in the cow shed during milkings. Biggest key attributes are capability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail, a love for animals and being reliable - it's important for our cows and team that we have someone committed.
