He k?rero m? te t?ranga | The function
As a key member of the Group Executive Team (GET), you will bring business knowledge and perspective to work in partnership with senior leaders on all aspects of strategic workforce planning, organisational development, change management, health, safety and wellbeing and people management, and will contribute at the executive level to the overall leadership abilities of the organisation.
You will lead the Group's People practice function and drive the objectives set out in the strategy and work programme for the organisation. The Group functions include Strategic Workforce Planning, Workforce Development (Learning & OD), People Business Partnering (HR and ER), Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Operations & Systems (analytics, systems and remuneration), Diversity & Inclusion, and Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
As a senior leader within a Te Tiriti partner organisation working towards equity across all services, you will provide leadership abilities, advice and guidance to the organisation relating to achievement of its M?ori health and equity goals.

It goes without saying, you will be a senior strategic leader with a track record of practice and achievement in delivering a high performing Human Resources function in an organisation of similar size and complexity. Your broad skills in all areas of HR, ideally including practice within unionised environments, will set you up for success.
You will bring a strong knowledge of Te Tiriti ? Waitangi and a commitment to embedding Te Tiriti principles and a pro-equity approach to policy, process, and practice within an organisation. You thrive on culture change and know how to support and enable leaders across an organisation. At your core, you have an unequivocal commitment to our values and embraces our culture specifically our commitment toM?ori, Pasifika, Lived practice, and Rainbow/Takat?pui, and empowering people to reach their full potential.
Your energetic and collaborative style, superb people leadership abilities skills and commitment to building and enhancing capcapability across the organisation will be pivotal to the contribution you will make in this highly valued leadership abilities function.

this function is ideally located either in Christchurch or Auckland, although consideration may be given to exceptional candidates who are located elsewhere.
