Welcome to Nomadic New Zealand. We have two operational areas, camping and glamping rental and sales. With this function, you would have the benefit of traveling around the country, while installing events of all kinds. After running and growing the business for 5 years, new challenges have arisen for the upcoming season for the current owner operators (firstborn on the way), therefore reducing their freedom to travel nationwide. Effectively, this function has been created and would require a reliable individual or couple to take charge and make these events come through. Where the events, are thinned (by covid cancelations/postponements), other business development, retail despatch and other tasks can be provided for hours, located in Taupo. The function: Primary » Coordinate and supervise installations » manage and find temporary staff » Packing and prepping for events » Travelling to and from event. driving small truck/ vehicle and trailer » Liasing directly with customers/event coordinators » Office work - in the house office Secondary » Retail despatch » Business development and growth » admin and marketing tasks. » maintenance The ideal applicant(s) Indivual or couple: » Confident and reliable » Physical fit and capable » Full drivers license » Fully covid vaccinated » Initiative » capability to work productively, independently » capability to adapt » Lead and guide other staff » Admin and customer service expertise » fluent english » management practice DATES - Mid november - Mid April - possible extension. 6 month contracting arrangement. HOURS: Fluctuate all over season between 20 - 50 hours per week. An accommodation option can be negotiated.
