THE ROLE Adecco are seeking a Production Technician to join our client's team in Lower Hutt. You will have the responsibility of assembling, repairing, and testing our clients' devices to achieve production targets. Your key responsibilities will include: » Assembly of devices efficiently » Testing of final products and subassemblies for functionality or quality » Packaging and shipping of final product » Assist the Operations Manager to maintain manufacturing records » Assist Operations Manager on inventory » Identify problems and report to Operations Manager » Maintain clean and tidy production environment SKILLS & EXPERIENCE To be successful for this position you must have: - » Computer Proficiency - Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office applications. » Outstanding communication skills » Extreme attention to detail » Able to follow standard operating procedures » Good understanding of quality control principles and inventory management » Honest, reliable and efficient To be successful in this position, a Ministry of Justice Check, Pre-employment drug & alcohol test and Two Verbal References must be satisfactory prior to commencement of this position.
