Job Offer: Senior Adviser Te Ao M?ori:HainesAttractJob description:Job Description» Flexible working opportunities» Work on high profile and important policy developments » See positive change while you work Te t?ranga– The function We are seeking for someone who understands and is passionate about Te Ao M?ori, and will bring that lens to our mahi at Te P?tea Matua. this function will see you leading policy development and implementation of initiatives to support our Te Ao M?ori strategy, including our landmark project on M?ori Access to Capital. You will also have the opportunity to input on some of our other strategic initiatives that will have bearing on the financial system. You'll be an ambassador for cultural and behavioural change across and outside of the Bank around our Te Ao M?ori work, in a function that has influence and stakeholder management across Senior Leaders. ? p?kenga– About you To be prosperous in this function you will bring: » At least five years' practice in a senior or principal policy adviser function, or within a business enterprise function, preferably within financial services » Strong knowledge of tikanga M?ori (and a good/strong grasp of Te Reo M?ori highly sought) » capability to lead the development of policy options, analytical work, and drive our thinking with internal and external stakeholders » Flexibility and agility to work in a fast-paced and agile environment and prioritise competing demands » Strong networks across tangata whenua, business, thought leaders and interest groups with a focus on the M?ori economic ecosystem Ng? painga– What we offer We offer an inclusive and flexible working environment to enable our people to bring their whole selves to work and embrace each other's uniqueness.
