I am currently recruiting for an Operational Risk and Remediation Manager, to lead six direct reports focussed on Remediation and Risk, in the Insurance space. Lead and mentor, provide input and skills to help execute the risk management accountabilities within the business.
Other tasks Include:
   » Support best practice risk management and drive appropriate change to ensure the balance between risk and compensate is maintained
   » Contribute to the timely and effective management of customer remediation events
   » Create documents and reports as required for a variety of audiences that clearly articulate key facts and insights
   » Build and maintain relationships with the wider business to deliver value for the insurance business and to its customers
   » Support and facilitate a culture of risk consciousness, ownership and control
   » Ensure changes to risk processes and policies are implemented, identifying the causes of loss/risk
Desired practice:
   » Minimum of 5 years practice in Financial Services - in insurance AND/OR risk management
   » Sound knowledge of operational risk management, compliance and/or regulation
   » Previous practice managing teams (preferred) OR looking for a step up into a leadership abilities function
