This team is responsible for processing a large fortnightly and small monthly pay, using PeopleSoft. Other tasks Include: » Ensure that fortnightly and monthly pay runs for ACC employees are accurate and paid on time » Ensure PAYE returns are processed and prepared, as well as Payday Filing with IRD » Manage and reconcile any Payroll overpayments made to employees, as well as any other adjustments » Ensure new employees are set up accurately in HRIS and that employee records are accurate and secure » Ensure Payroll systems and practices align with the NZ Holidays Act and other significant legislation » Effectively build and lead a cohesive, constructive and supportive team who are clear on their purpose and motivated to deliver practice Required: » Previous practice leading teams, running end-to-end Payroll - preferably in a public sector environment » Excellent expertise of end-to-end Payroll processes, with hands-on practice in a recent position » Good expertise of Payroll systems and HRIS, with practice in PeopleSoft or another significant system » Strong capability to interpret and apply NZ Payroll legislation to BAU situations » Enjoys working collaboratively, leading others and working across teams to achieve goals If you are interested and have what Information technology takes - please APPLY NOW!
