Due to growth, they are looking at hiring a Project Coordinator. Reporting to the GM, this role would be responsible for managing projects across the board and be involved in continuous improvement and performance reporting. Ideally, you would have previous experience in food manufacturing or dairy industry. This role is best suited for someone who can work independently under a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: » Manage & co-ordinate projects and ensure deliverables are met within timelines, scope and budget » Ability to identify risks and issues that could affect the project, and put in place effective solutions with timelines » Develop a detailed project plan with milestones, long term goals & timelines to track & measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques » Lead & manage RMP amendment initiatives and ensure completion within agreed timelines » Identify potential opportunities of growth, cost reduction and capability improvement to support business strategy & future growth. Key areas - operational continuous improvement, QA & QC, ingredients management, product & processes improvement etc. » Develop ideas into a project ensuring completion of a project brief which defines the background, objectives, scope, constraints, and risks. » Complete & ensure project interim reports & end of project reports are available when needed » Manage a reports database for technical & quality team and ensure all relevant reports are completed on time for decision making » Generate various weekly performance reports for technical & quality team » Develop & maintain performance dashboards as per guidance from GM on various aspects of team's performance e.g. product grading (first time right), audit actions, QA compliance, raw materials evaluations, technical projects & improvement initiatives etc. » Hands on work while leading & managing initiatives and take responsibility of assigned actions to support wider project team e.g. validation trials, improvement initiatives, change management etc. » Support GM with critical events and urgent requests as required » Support customer enquiries & complaints management and ensure responses are provided within the agreed timeframe Key Requirements » Minimum 5 years of experience in food or dairy industry » Ability to remain composed under pressure and accepts personal accountability » Ability to handle multiple projects and solve problems within agreed timeframe » Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and able to deal with ambiguity » You should be adaptable, trustworthy, have excellent team spirit and good interpersonal and communication skills » Tertiary qualification in Food Technology/food science/dairy science/ dairy technology/chemistry or other engineering Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
