This would be an afternoon shift role (Monday to Friday 3.15pm to 11.45pm). This position will report directly to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will plan and organise the operations to ensure good manufacturing practices, employee safety and product quality are maintained and continuously improved. Key Tasks include: » Hands on approach to driving productivity, yield and quality on shift » Maintaining positive relationships with all departments, taking responsibility for the scheduling, inspections, documentation and associated equipment on your shift » Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, manufacturing regulations and strict safety guidelines » Leading and motivating the team, working with the Packing Plant Manager on training and development plans We are looking for someone who can use their initiative and consistently ensure fantastic team performance through great attention to detail and clear communication skills. Other key skills and experience include: » Intermediate computer skiills » Strong knowledge around health, safety and quality » Solid mechanical aptitude » Coaching experience Someone with food / dairy manufacturing experience would be ideal.
