Regional Relationship Managers – various locations

We are pursuing energetic Regional Relationship Managers with a can-do attitude and who are passionate about working amongst our community and social service providers to join our Social Service Contracting team. These functions report to the National Relationship Manager.
You will be responsible for coordinating, engaging and managing key partnerships and relationships for the Contracting Services and Management team and key stakeholders such as Non-Government Community organisations, Kaupapa M?ori and Iwi providers, Pacific organisations and other key social sector service providers that are funded by MSD.
These are fast-paced positions in an achievement focused workplace. We are seeking people to lead relationships with a portfolio of social service providers in a way that is consistent with the Ministry's strategic direction, and that contributes to helping New Zealanders to help themselves to be safe, strong and independent. Functions within this function include:
   » Develop, implement and execute a regional strategic partnership and relationship management plan for Service and Contract Management team with a Social Sector Commissioning view.
   » Building key relationships and networks while influencing partnering agreements with key agencies and providers in collaboration with the sector.
   » Enhancing provider and community capacity and capcapability to work towards their aspirations, by responding to priority needs and improving results of Social Sector Commissioning.
   » Strategically influencing and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders for the betterment of communities and whanau.
   » Identifying and influencing enhancements to services and enabling the ministry and stakeholders to work within the Social Sector Commissioning principles

To be prosperous you will be a talented communicator with a proven track record of cultivating strong relationships as well as being passionate in influencing effective results for Social Services within the community.
A significant part of your function will be building long-term relationships with key government and non-government stakeholders as well as internal Ministry staff. This means our ideal candidate needs to be an effective communicator who has broad practice in engaging with our various stakeholders and is comfortable operating at a senior level. An knowledge and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, in particular, knowledge of tikanga M?ori, and Pacific peoples' culture is key.
There will be a requirement for some travel.
income range: $94,834 – $115,908
