The main responsibilities of the position are: » Installation of our modular ramp system and constructing timber platforms at clients' homes » Liaising with clients over the phone to organise ETAs and deliver routes » Loading of work vehicle with all products, tools, and accessories from our Feilding workshop Driving our vehicles to a safe standard. » Maintaining a high standard of workmanship in all duties. » You will be required to assist with site measures and preparing plans for quoting purposes. » Training will be provided for all aspects of the job. You will be proivided with a late model Toyota van, a cell phone / tablet and supply all tools / equipment required to perform the job with efficiency. Each installation can take up to 5-6 hours and can be based anywhere in New Zealand. Generally, you will be working sole charge and installing the assembly on your own. The job will require overnight travel approx. 2-3 nights per week, with accommodation and food allowances. Our Installers are our prized resource for building strong relationships and delivering outstanding results for our clients. We require someone with a tidy presentation and excellent communication skills. Our installers build confidence with all clients, with the goal to exceed expectations. Building experience and power tool capabilities are essential. We use battery tools primarily, so proficiency in the use of Angle Grinders, Circular and drop Saws, Drills and Nail Guns is a must, as level Timber platforms are constructed where our ramps can't fit in patios and porch spaces etc. A clean, full NZ driving license is essential. ACC and Ministry of Justoce checks will be completed. All servicing and maintenance of the vehicle is the responsibility of the installers. You must show an ability to problem solve, be flexible and comfortable working alone or with a team. The position is salary based for 45 hours per week.
