They are the largest waste-to-energy provider and have the largest commercial electric fleet in New Zealand. A great opportunity for an experienced Compliance Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team in Wellington. As the Compliance Coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all site compliance activities as prescribed by; client contracts, company policy, legislation, and HSEQ Management System, ensuring compliance and achievement of key performance indicators and administration requirements. Health & Safety of our client's staff are their top priority, they have introduced a policy requiring all staff and visitors to site be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 within their offices. To be successful in the position as Compliance Coordinator your key responsibilities will be, but not limited to: » Collection, analysis and reporting of all statistics relating to HSEQ as required by the Business Unit, customers, Corporate Services and authorities as specified. » Act as first point of contact for site and operational managers for claims and liaise with HSEQ department regarding claims on behalf of the business. » Develop and maintain processes in which the progress of incident reports and corrective actions are tracked, reported and followed up and finalised, without compromise to quality, and develop incident reports and corrective action reports where required. » Assist management to coordinate the annual development of the Safety, Sustainability, Service Plan (SSSP), Site Emergency Management Plan (SEMP), Business Unit Risk Register (BURR). » Organise/ coordinate required HSEQ training, both internal and external for all employees as required. » Monitor and review completion of weekly/monthly tasks required as part of the contract requirements (inspections, toolbox etc). » Participate in processes regarding risk management compliance and internal controls to ensure operations and legal HSEQ risks are effectively managed and minimised. It is preferable if you have working knowledge of HSEQ legislation and regulations and previous experience with HSEQ management systems. A full driver's licence is required.
