We have a team of 4 people, milking 1000 cows on the farm, milking through a rotary shed. We have the latest technology in the shed and on the farm, using protrack in the shed and Halter collars on the farm for animal health and fencing/moving. Been able to get along, laugh and work with others as a team is a must. Both people could be on the same roster with our sister farm St Andrews Dairy having a space for someone in their team, allowing time off together for rest and travelling/sightseeing. We are located in the South Island, 20 minutes south of Timaru at the village of St Andrews. The ideal people would join our team for a minimum of four months or longer if they wished, and have had previous practice working with livestock or large animals.
