Job Offer: Development Executive:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Chamber Music New Zealand Closes 10 Jun 2022 Posted on 25 May 2022 Region National Work type Part time employment Work classification Education & Development ShareAbout the functionThe Development Executive function is to assist with the implementation of CMNZ's annual fundraising plan including: » Implementing the CMNZ Bequest programme. » Developing and maintaining key relationships with current and prospective donors and bequestors; » Developing and distributing appeals that enhance our supporter development and increase donations. » Supporting the delivery of our annual fundraising events. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Development, this is an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to play a key function within a national arts organisation that has a strong emphasis on providing communities all over Aotearoa New Zealand with opportunities to enjoy a diverse range of music up close practices. About You You will havewell-developed relationship management and interpersonal expertise, with the capability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences. You will also have: » A minimum of 3 years of fundraising/earnings generating practice with a strong history of securing gifts from individuals and/or businesses. » Excellent organisational expertise with the capability to multitask » Well-developed analytical expertise with the capability to identify and address key issues » The capability to identify potential fundraising opportunities, building relationships and securing support from a number of audiences » Have the capability to write effective donor-centric communications » Have practice of using a fundraising donor database Chamber Music New Zealand (founded 1950) is a national agency that tours New Zealand and international musicians, presenting 120 concerts in over 30 towns and cities all over the country each year. The concert programme incorporates a range of musical styles including classical, jazz, folk and contemporary genres. We also have a dynamic community engagement programme that sees musicians working alongside a wide variety of different groups and communities including people with lived practice of discapability, at risk youth as well as those in geographically isolated regions. Chamber Music New Zealand (CMNZ) is embarking on a period of re-invention, diversifying our function in response to the unique qualities of Aotearoa New Zealand today.
