We are seeking for enthusiastic people to help with planting at our Waipu orchard. We are seeking for people who enjoy working outdoors and are not afraid of a hard days work. The work will be full time (Monday-Friday) for 3-4 weeks, with the possibility for extra work, such as, pruning to go on with after planting is complete. Immediate start available for the right candidate. Pay rate will be $22.50 an hour (gross), plus 8% Holiday pay. Who are we? We are a family owned business located in Ohaupo in the Waikato. We have established Orchards in Ohaupo, Ngatea, Otautau (Southland) and in Waipu (Northland). We are New Zealand’s largest holder of Blueberry land with 750 acres (300+ hectares) currently in production. Our head office and main processing facilities are located just 20 minutes south of Hamilton, and the blueberries are grown, harvested, frozen and packed all on site. We also run Pick Your Own (PYO) and café operations through the summer across all our existing orchards. Accommodation and transport: Able to stay in your own self-contained accommodation on site (FREE), with toilets, showers and cooking facilities on site.
