This is an exciting chance to join our energetic team and make a strong contribution to Aotearoa's classical music landscape as the Quartet continues its work of evolution to make chamber music significant to modern Aotearoa audiences.The New Zealand String Quartet Trust is seeking a General Manager/Kaiwhakahaere Matua with previous significant practice in the arts. As a key leadership abilities function you'll work closely with the Board of Trustees, musicians, administrative staff, stakeholders and sponsors to develop and implement the charitable NZSQ Trust's strategy and business plans. With your proven capcapability in arts management, you'll ensure the seamless presentation of concerts, tours, and a broad range of creative and collaborative projects while working closely with the musicians. You'll have a deep knowledge of promotion and engagement, and will be able to develop partnerships and positively represent the NZSQ. Your excellent communication expertise will ensure the NZSQ's performances continue to reach and resonate with audiences of all kinds. Your outstanding relationship expertise will strengthen our fundraising and salary-producing activities through building individual, corporate, and government support, and enable you to lead new initiatives for partnership and audience development. You will also be supported by our small team in our Wellington office.
