Job Opportunity: Duty Manager:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Basement Theatre Closes 28 Aug 2022 Posted on 18 Jul 2022 Region Auckland Work type Part time employment, Casual employment Work classification Performing Arts, Other ShareBasement Theatre is seeking a casual Duty Manager (approximately two shifts a week including Saturday nights) a function in an exciting and fun creative space in the CBD.The function superviseing the smooth and efficient operation of the bar, care for all audiences and artists to the bar and public areas of Basement Theatre, and supervision and support for the bar team. You will have: » At least two years practice in hospitality and people management; » Dedication to a high level of customer service, including knowledge of, and interest in, beer, wine, spirits & cocktail making; » A current & valid LCQ certificate, and ideally a & Duty Managers certificate; » A friendly, warm and welcoming presence; » Excellent communication expertise to work as part of a small team and assist in reporting activities; » A high standard for cleanliness and the upkeep of hospitality systems; » A passion for theatre and the creative arts. You will be well-presented, committed and available to work weekends and nights. These expertise/attributes will offer you an advantage above other candidates: » knowledge of tikanga, te ao M?ori and capability to speak te reo; » Knowledge of NZ Sign Language; » Current first aid certification.
