Do you want to be part of a team that will deliver the Therapeutic Products Bill and the new regulatory regime for therapeutic products, a foundational piece of work for the new health system? Are you keen to be part of shaping the future of the strategy and policy advice we are providing for COVID-19? Are you interested in working on a range of cross cutting health and social issues, including discapability, child and youth wellbeing, primary and community care, homelessness, rainbow health and the social determinants of health?

As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will be able to demonstrate your comfort in sharing your knowledge and mentoring analysts to grow their policy expertise. You are open to learning from others, seeking opportunities through your work to further grow both your written and analytical expertiseets, whilst demonstrating core leadership abilities expertise when leading of pieces of work.
We want to hear from candidates that are:
   » naturally curious
   » practiced with core government processes and working with Ministers
   » comfortable working across a broad range of complex policy issues
   » enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
You’ll bring a thorough knowledge of public policy issues, including Te Tiriti and equity requirements. You have demonstrated success in developing fit for purpose policy advice in a dynamic environment. You can assimilate new information and apply policy frameworks to work in tight timeframes
As a highly collaborative policy professional who can see the benefits of strong policy advice using data analysis and research to evidence advice, you bring with you a strong capability to take complex information and make Information technology significant across a range of audiences.
You can demonstrate a strong knowledge of how legislative and regulatory instruments can be applied to deliver better economic and social results and improve health results.
Your advice is understood by a range of audiences, breaking complex problems into achievable equitable solutions. You will take ownership and action on challenges, working collaboratively with others. You are all about making a positive contribution to the team.
