About our group and team
Our Group, Te Pae Aronui provides integrated operational support to our regions for their work with the education sector and others to deliver inclusive education that meets the needs of akonga and whanau.
The purpose of the Strategy and Implementation team is to lead the collaborative development and iteration of strategic initiatives within Te Pae Aronui in alignment with the Ministry’s vision and priorities. We translate policy decisions into collaborative, coherent, fit-for-purpose service design, ensuring implementation by regional leads is well supported at the national level.
About this function
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised team co-ordinator to join our Strategy and Implementation team. this function offers plenty of variety as you will play a key function, supporting the Group Manager Strategy and Implementation and work across our teams to provide support to implementation activities. Our work crosses strategic integration, planning, service design and implementation and gives effect to change that impacts all learners.
You will play a key function in giving effect to change that impacts all learners.
More specifically, you will:
   » provide support to Managers and team members to provide administration, project and co-ordination support
   » development a good knowledge of the teams work commitments and priorities and proactivity look for look for ways to support various activities and improve process
   » support financial activities such as invoice coding and actioning of accruals and undertake travel bookings
   » establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective engagement
   » proactively contribute to the development of an effective working environment within Strategy and Implementation, Te Pae Aronui and regionally that encourages collaboration across teams, knowledge sharing, continuing learning, creativity, and innovation.

About you
Your background should include practice in the public sector and the capability to demonstrate the following:
   » practice proving administrative support or co-ordination support in a project or programme environment
   » Good knowledge of Microsoft office, including MS Teams
   » Good written communication expertise and great organisation expertise.
You will also offer:
   » the capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
