Te ?hua o Te T?runga - The nature of the positionThese functions are integral to the Volunteer Recruitment team whose purpose is to attract, select and build relationships with high calibre professional, practiced, and university volunteers for in-country and e-Volunteer assignments with our partner organisations we serve in the wider Pacific. As one of our Volunteer Recruitment Advisors, you will be involved in the full end-to-end recruitment.The Volunteer Recruitment team is part of the wider Programmes and Volunteer Services group. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Operations and Programmes teams which are part of the group.You will ensure that the Volunteers you select have a smooth transition to our operations and programmes teams for their induction to VSA. Ng? tino P?kenga/Wheako - Essential expertise/practices for the functionWe are seeking for someone that embodies manaakitanga, who can quickly establish trusted and productive working relationships, and believes in shared learning achievable through volunteering.As one of our Recruitment Advisor you will bring your proven end-to-end recruitment practice to this function; and will ideally have: » Proven practice interacting with Applicant Tracking Systems and job platforms for active candidate searches. We use Job Adder but familiarity with any ATS is fine. » Sound interpersonal expertise and the capability to interact in a culturally respectful manner at all levels across both New Zealand and Pacific organisations. » Confidence in both verbal and written communication expertise. capability to remain calm under pressure. » High level of motivation and initiative, self-management and capability to work autonomously to deliver results to deadline.
