About the function
As the Project Coordinator, you will play important function in supporting the ARC-funded research project Connecting Asia-Pacific Literary Cultures: Grounds, Encounter and Exchange. You will provide administration, planning, social media and budgeting support to the research team, as well as assist in the coordination of field research interviews, workshops and collaborative residencies. this function will see you manage project communications and documentation and be responsible for creating the content for the digital publications. The project - Connecting Asia-Pacific Literary Cultures: Grounds, Encounter and Exchange seeks to develop innovative creative practices and to connect writers and evolve literary cultures in the Asia-Pacific region.
About you
To be prosperous in this function, you will have:
   » Strong interpersonal and communications expertise and capability to engage with diverse range of internal stakeholders, including the research team and foster culture of multidisciplinary collaboration
   » Demonstrated creative or critical interest in one or more of the themes of the project: belonging and place; translation and language; and world-making and futures.
   » Strong organisational expertise with capability to prioritise work within tight timeframes whilst delivering high quality outputs
   » Strong project management expertise and financial management within an arts and/or university setting
   » candidates with an established or emerging track record as creative writers and those from Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Creative Writing, Media, Communication or a related discipline
Desired: Undertaking or completed postgraduate study in significant discipline
