Job Opportunity: Au Pair Needed - Mangakino!:Job description:Au Pair Needed - Mangakino!Payment: Accommodation & Paid ($21.00 per hour)Job location: Mangakino Region: Taupo & Central Plateau practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 20/05/2021 We are a family of six (4 kids) looking for our next Au Pair to join our family anytime from now, and for as long as possible. This job may suit a school leaver, nana, a kiwi who is wanting to do something a bit different, someone interested in sponsorship (must already be in NZ), a retiree, or someone who has found themselves without a job because of covid. We are also open to communal living with another parent etc. We are located quite rural near the small town of Mangakino and the closest large towns are Taupo (50minutes), Rotorua (1hour), and Tokoroa (30minutes). We both work full-time so we need someone to do 45 plus hours per week. All four of our children are at home full-time as we home educate, so you will be helping them to lgain new and wonderful things everyday through a variety of learning styles. This is a very compensateing position, our kids are unapologetically loud and free, they love to play and sing, enjoy nature, get their hands dirty in the vegetable garden, go for walks, do arts and crafts, explore, and read books. Watching them navigate life is very enriching and we often get comments like "you kids are so cool", please don't let four kids scare you, you will have our full support and we have a great time together. At home we have a large four-bedroom house with a large section overlooking the farm, Information technology has great views and the best sunsets! we have two lounge areas, and you will have a shared bathroom with the kids. Outside we have a large vegetable garden, bikes, climbing frames/playground, a sandpit, a playhouse, chickens, a goat, a sheep, and three family pet dogs, and two cats - phew!! We have house parties/socialize often and it's the best time. » An easy working environment with lots of entertainment for the kids. » Support from an au pair agency. » Endless fresh eggs from our chickens. » Two days off per week ( a week being Monday-Sunday) Please note - » Weekend work is required. » The pay is not exclusive of board/lodging deductions, this is calculated into the $21.00 per hour, generally, nationally au pairs receive pocket money (money after board and tax) of between $380-$450 per week depending on practice. » You will be required to get you First Aid Certificate (we will pay for this). » We do work with an Au Pair agency. » More work is available if needed/wanted.
