M? te t?nga |About the function As a Kait?tari Kaupapa Here Matua / Senior Policy Analyst you’ll play a pivotal function in influencing and supporting the delivery of the Ministry’s objectives through dedicated engagement and partnership with range of M?ori groups, iwi and hap? – at national, regional and local levels – to progress te Tiriti negotiations and settlement commitments. This is your opportunity to make a difference at the forefront of M?ori-Crown relationships where providing high quality, timely advice to Ministers will be an important aspect of the function. You will be able to navigate competing priorities and requests for information with our commitment to see te Tiriti reflected in environmental decision making. Particular knowledge and skills in preparing, superviseing and peer reviewing the drafting of high-quality advice will be invaluable. You’ll be agile and adaptable by nature, motivated to share your knowledge and skills to lead a variety of complex and challenging projects, and willing to maanaki and mentor more junior colleagues through te Tiriti negotiation and settlement processes.
