The Ministry of Education is committed to inclusive practice and all our PB4L initiatives aim to encourage pro-social behaviour that leads to improved learner engagement and achievement. We work alongside families, early childhood educators, schools, and other agencies to make a positive difference for children and young people. PB4L School Wideis a whole school approach to improving learner behaviour and achievement. School Wide Practitioners provide training and continuing coaching to School-Wide teams set up within the school. They work with these school teams to implement consistent and sustainable behaviour support systems that promote quality teaching and learning. We are pursuing a qualified and practiced specialist to join our school wide team in the Wellington Region. Our ideal candidate will be a psychologist or teacher with expertise and practice of behaviour management; adult learning; and working with teachers in schools to reduce challenging student behaviours. We are pursuing a confident presenter and facilitator who demonstrates strong relationship management and influencing expertise.
