Who are we? We are a family-owned business located in Ohaupo in the Waikato. We have established Orchards in Ohaupo, Ngatea, Otautau (Southland) and have an orchard under development in Waipu (Northland). We are New Zealand’s largest holder of Blueberry land with 750 acres (300+ hectares) currently in production. Our head office and main processing facilities are located just 20 minutes south of Hamilton, and the blueberries are grown, harvested, frozen and packed all on site. We also run Pick Your Own (PYO) and café operations through the summer across all our existing orchards. Positions available: · Packhouse/Process Workers. · Café Front of House Staff. · Orchard Staff. Our roster runs over a 7-day period, and you will be expected to work 5-6 days a week. Shifts will vary but work is likely to start around November/December and will go through until Feb/March. However, the end date is flexible located on the candidates needs. Pay will vary depending on practice and position, new workers start on $21.20 per hour. Accommodation and transport: Must organize own accommodation, and you will need your own transport as there is no public transport that comes past our site.
