Job Opportunity: Covid Clinicians – Teletriage Nurse or Paramedics:Maori Pacific JobsJob description:Job Description» Join Aotearoa’s Covid response» Contract until June 2022 » Flexible work in the house opportunity Whakarongorau Aotearoa are looking for practiced Registered Nurses and Paramedics to join the Covid response on a fixed term contract to support our service users across New Zealand. Tele-health is an evolving and dynamic area of the health sector. We use advanced technology and decision support software in conjunction with the capability to upload images to enhance the tele-triage practice. You will use your broad clinical practice and be supported by our robust clinical guidelines and systems. You will have full support, training, and coaching from our clinical leaders. This is a remote fixed-term opportunity. About the function – Atu mo te mahi Working across theCovid Clinical, Covid Vaccinations and Covid Inbound service lines to deliver essential health and well-being support and Covid related advice to people right across Aotearoa. We are offering flexible working, part-time or full-time with the option of working in the house. You would work on a rotating roster over a 24/7 period with main availcapability to cover the 8am – 8pm Covid Clinical and Vaccinations Service Lines. Any evenings, overnights and weekends worked will include penal rates! We can also provide equipment if needed including an additional monitor About you – Pehea koe You’ll be a Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate (NZRGON, Dip.CpN or BHS Nursing) or Registered Paramedic with a current practising certificate. A background in general acute nursing/paramedicine with three or more years post-registration practice is desirable. We are seeking for Clinicians with excellent time management and sound clinical judgement. You will be a great listener with excellent communication expertise and confident with technology. Connecting in with our priority communities is essential and a high degree of cultural consciousness and empathy is required. Korero M?ori or talanoa in Pasifika languages is also highly desirable.
