Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive of our Corporate and Finance group, this senior leadership abilities function leads the corporate procurement activities and strategies across the business to ensure a coordinated and effective procurement function at ACC. this function is also responsible for strategic leadership abilities and oversight of ACC’s buildings and work environments, ensuring they are fit for purpose, safe and secure, efficient to operate, compliant and provide a great working environment for ACC employees, while managing and minimising costs.
This is a six-month secondment or fixed-term position, located in Wellington.

this function requires senior level management practice from a large and complex organisation such as ours, ideally in the field of corporate procurement. Your background will include significant business practice, and the capability to translate strategic plans into operational improvements. You’ll bring sound knowledge and demonstrated leadership abilities of the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
We’re looking for a positive and energetic people leader who can function model strong and inspirational leadership abilities. You’ll have excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building expertise, with the capability to effectively influence and work prosperously with a range of key stakeholders across the business and externally. You’ll bring a natural curiosity for identifying better ways of working and youll thrive on the opportunity to lead through change, drive continuous improvement and support a high-performance culture.

The appointing range for this function is approximately $200,000 to $245,000 with appointment depending on expertise and practice. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
