Cyber Risk and Assurance AnalystJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »$105 -115k income »Permanent function »Fast paced collaborative team The function The Cyber Risk and Assurance Analyst is responsible for contributing to the security of this Public Sector Clients ICT services and infrastructure. The position will be responsible for the delivery of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) programme, and be the point of contact for business units existing and new Information technology systems or services, partnering with them & guiding them through the C&A process. tasks • Engaging with business units considering upgrade or deployment of new systems to ensure that C&A requirements are considered and provide appropriate guidance and support to business owners. • Work with members of the IST cyber security team & third-party vendors to conduct risk assessments in support of the C&A process and identify applicable controls. • Maintain consciousness of the C&A status of all systems being operated in the environment and managing a programme of work to ensure that the C&A process is applied to each one. • Build effective relationships with the business users, system owners, and IST security • focused functions. expertise & practice • practice working in, or supporting information security functions within a large complex organisation, preferably in the public sector. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practice in cyber security, risk, audit, or a related field. • Formal certification in an information security domain preferred, or availability to attain. • Able to obtain and maintain a NZSIS clearance to SECRET • A strong knowledge of information security frameworks, in particular the NZISM.
