As a Senior Finance Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance team's transformation, ensuring efficient financial processes, and contributing to the success of our Transport & Infrastructure division.
Detailed Description :
The Transport & Infrastructure (T&I) Finance Accounting Services team is responsible for all back-office finance functions for the NZ business including month end processing, journals, and supporting information. A key link with the NZ business finance community in supporting financial transaction needs.
The Senior Finance Administrator will assist the Accounting Services team in the provision of these services for T&I New Zealand.
Key Internal Relationships with:
   » T&I NZ Finance team
   » T&I NZ Operations team
   » BSC team
Financial Transaction Assistance:
   » Process Purchase Orders, including creation, goods receipt and invoice matching in Speedscan according to Company policy.
   » Timely processing of purchase order requests, using correct GL coding and matching of supplier invoice once received, ensuring GRIR cleared with no remaining balance.
   » Follow up on unprocessed DJR's (timesheets) and liaise within the business to ensure all DJR's are processed on time including regular follow up of all outstanding items.
   » Raising internal recharge invoice requests to ensure they are completed accurately & within reporting deadlines.
   » PCards are cleared within reporting deadlines accompanied by supporting documentation that meets Company Policy.
   » Set up new projects in JDE for bid team within 24 hours of request.
   » Collation of supporting documentation for project, JV and Alliance claims and in doing so, be vigilant in ensuring the collated data is accurate and submitted within required timeframes for all claim transactions.
   » Assist with annual audit process by providing documentation as required by internal or external auditors within required timeframes.
   » Collate a weekly list of prompt payment requests, to be submitted to the Corporate team in time for inclusion in the weekly payment run.

   » Contribute to the identification and minimisation of business risks and compliance issue. All policies and practices are complied with under H & S policy, the Zero Harm Policy and other related policy and initiatives' to keep our workplace safe.
Qualifications and Experience
   » 5 - 7 years' experience as a business administrator.
   » Demonstrated ability to perform tasks within established standards.
   » Intermediate MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word).
   » Team player with good interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communications skills - with a natural desire to "support and assist others".
   » Detail orientated with problem solving skills.
   » Passion, drive and enthusiasm.
   » Role modelling the company values of Excellence, Collaboration, Courage, and Integrity.

Advantageous to have:
   » Experience using JDE
   » Knowledge of Construction Industry
