We are seeking for an adjunct calf rearer and farm hand to help over the 2022 spring calving season. You will be working alongside the lead calf rearer as well as supporting the team in the dairy shed as required.
The farm milks 1200 cows and we plan to rear 310 heifer replacements. Full training will be provided and excellent calf rearing equipment and facilities are provided.
We are offering a 6-8 week long contract starting 25th July 2022 (negotiable).
Accommodation provided will be with 1 existing staff memeber on farm, with a furnished room and power and board. The farm is located in Bankside, half way between Rakaia and Dunsandel.
You must be a NZ citizen, permanent resident or have a valid work visa and currently be in New Zealand to apply for this position.
