PURPOSE OF THE function: The UX Designer is responsible for championing a customer-centric approach and ensuring user practice processes are integrated all over the entire lifecycle of product design; discovery through to development. You will transform complicated ideas into sketches, user flows, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes and hi-fi mocks with decisions being informed by insights through research and data. Above all this the function will ensure that the offering is efficient, easy, frictionless and entertaining. RESPONSABILITIES: this function will be working across the different product teams and also the wider business to deal with customer problems underpinned by business value. ● User research and synthesis ● Present findings back to significant stakeholders ● Defining and designing solutions located on insights - co-designing in a cross functional team ● (working with the Head of UX) Audit and maintain a common UX language across all channels ● everyday stand-ups with significant teams ● Prototyping and testing ● Being accountable for approaching every problem with a customer first mindset - being an advocate for the customer ABOUT YOU: Education ● Tertiary degree in a significant field practice and expertise ● 3 - 5+ years’ significant practice in UX function ● A portfolio that showcases your capabilities and knowledge of the UX process. ● practice in UX research & synthesis and user testing. ● practice working with product and engineering in an integrated team. ● Design practice in web, tablet and mobile environments ● practice integrating user research into design practices ● capability to translate complex concepts and ideas into visual representations, including mockups, prototypes and detailed designs ● Sound expertise in UI design. ● A critical thinker and problem solver ● Strong written and verbal communication expertise.
