The Team The Christchurch Opioid Recovery Service located at Hillmorton Hospital, provides specialised clinical work with consumers experiencing co-existing alcohol and/or drug dependence and moderate to severe mental health needs. The function We are pursuing a Medical agent for Christchurch Opioid Recovery Service at Hillmorton Hospital. This is a permanent 0.8FTE function with less hours to be negotiated if preferred. You will provide medical input into the multidisciplinary team's clinical assessment and management planning and will act as a Medical agent in the treatment of the department's patients cases. You will also be required to participate in the manager, training, evaluation and research within the department. You will have specialised expertise of pharmacology which will allow safe prescription and monitoring of drug treatments. To be considered for this function you will be registered or have the capability to be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
