Midsumma has repositioned itself as a globally significant cultural influencer with artistic leadership abilities, learning and diversity at its heart. Midsumma has significant programs aimed at discapability cultures, indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse programming. With attendances of up to 280,000 per year Midsumma Festival features approx. 190 events across artforms in venues across Melbourne with both a curated and open access festival program and a year-round arts / artists development program. Midsumma is currently in a state of tremendous growth and success and ready to spring into its next stage. We are seeking for an practiced programmer with expertise in contemporary arts program curation for diverse audiences and with expertise of queer cultures. The function will work closely with a wide variety of artists, producers, presenters and venues as well as with diverse communities. FT income range approx. $70 to $77k p.a. plus Super. Some flexibility on income level may exist dependent upon practice of prosperous candidate.
