Our client has acquired a few businesses and the Project Accountant will be responsible for determining and documenting financial system processes currently managed by corporate finance and also within subsidiary and newly acquired entities which will be integrated into the core corporate finance function. Working with the Group Financial Controller (GFC) the Project Accountant will identify process efficiencies, and recommend methods and timelines to implement these efficiencies. The Project Accountant will identify best practice from across the group with the intention that this best practice is applied consistently all over the group. Documented processes will be compared to existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and enable policy and process documentation review, update and creation where necessary. Through the documentation process training gaps will be identified and provided to the GFC. Where possible, processes will be streamlined though making best use of workflows and functions available in the newly upgraded Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (MSBC) System. practice / expertise » practice in reviewing and documenting finance processes and capability to use process documentation software such as Visio. » practice in application, revision and development of financial policies and process in a commercial business context. » Advanced Microsoft Excel financial modelling expertise and practice performing analysis across large data sets. » Chartered Accountant or Certified Financial Analyst qualified is preferred. » Must be proficient in the use and analysis of Finance Systems with practice in MS Navision or Business Central is an advantage.
