Ng? k?rero m? te t?ranga – About the function We have an opportunity for an individual who has the passion and drive to support Pacific learners all over their academic journey within the Division of Education, preparing them in initial teacher education programmes to develop their expertise to enhance Pacific achievement in schools and early childhood centres. To be prosperous, you will have an in-depth expertise of Pacific education, including Pacific identities, perspectives and cultural expertise and supporting Pacific learners in all sectors of education. You will also be willing to support staff and students with Pacific cultural expertise. Candidates must have a post-graduate qualification in a related field (or be near to completion) and a recognised teaching qualification, along with proven prosperous teaching expertise at tertiary level. Being a team-player, with a demonstrated capability to communicate and work effectively with others and with excellent organisation, administration and interpersonal expertise will be key to being prosperous.
