Enterprise Partnerships cover a range of entities, functions or institutions. Today these currently include the National Library, Archives New Zealand, Ministerial Services, and the Gambling Commission. Each ‘enterprise’ has its own, unique, kaupapa, and through its ‘partnership’ with Te Tari Taiwhenua, will be supported to achieve their goals. The nature of each partnership will depend on the goals and needs of the entity.
Due to a secondment, ArchivesNew Zealandis seeking an innovative and capable leader to lead Te Maeatanga our Digitisation Programme.

Digitisation is a key part of our mahi at Archives New Zealand - Information technology protects our archives from wear and tear andsupports equitable access for all through greater access to records by removing location-located barriers.The Manager, Te Maeatanga is responsible for the development and delivery of the digitisation program. The function will focus on managing the programme, a Team Leader, Archivists and superviseing Digitisation Kaimahi who work across a wide variety of expertise and technical abilities.
We are seeking for Somebody with;

   » capability to ensure the digitisation plan is meeting its goals and targets
   » capability to think strategically with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
   » capability to foster an environment of continuous review and improvement within the team
   » Agility in responding to changes in priorities
   » Proven capability to grasp new ideas and concepts
   » An knowledge of project coordination and project methodologies
You'll have plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and great expertise to take ownership of this challenging position. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as finance planning, people leadership abilities, reporting and monitoring program performance. Utilising your project and programme methodology expertise, you will help drive consistency across the programme and seek to enhance our ways of working.
