Auckland Studio Potters invites professional and amateur ceramic artists and craftspeople from the world over to apply for one of our two residency positions. Our primary objective is to provide creative time and space for our Residents to develop a new project or body of work in ceramics.Ourceramicresidencies run for periods of 4-12 weeks. Residencies of longer duration can be requested. At this time we are not able to provide housing accommodation however, we have a small database of members with possible Air BnB options and we offer each resident artist a once off subsidy of up to $500. This is an opportunity for the artist to connect with our thriving community ofceramicartists, potters,members and supporters of the arts, bysharingtheir skills and inspiringothers through their example.Resident Artists can enjoy and contribute to the atmosphereofexperimental exploration at Auckland Studio Potters. Resident Artists have the opportunity to be a dynamic part of the regional ceramic community as well as the local arts community by offering paid for workshops at the centre. ASP offers electric kiln firings, gas firing, soda, salt and raku opportunities!
