ACC manages one of New Zealand’s largest investment funds with more than $50 billion in funds under management. We are seeking for someone to develop, build and drive ACC’s Investment communications framework and engagement with the general public, investment community stakeholders and the media to ensure key external stakeholders understand the purpose and high-level activity of the investment fund and its positive impact on and value to people in New Zealand. This is your opportunity to continue your investor relations career in one of New Zealand’s largest and strongest investment teams. A few things you would be doing will include the following: » Work with the Head of Business Strategy and Manager External Engagement to support and develop an Investment communications framework and protocols » Enhance the visibility and knowledge of ACC’s impact investment funds with investment industry stakeholders, the public and government. Develop and implement our Investment Communications and Engagement Strategy streamlining engagement processes and key messaging » Provide internal and external support to the Investment Group’s existing Ethical and Responsible Investment Framework » Act as media spokesperson for media engagement on investment matters for ACC under the guidance of the media team » Develop and maintain close working relationships with the Chief Executive’s office, Customer Engagement team, and our Media team » Develop and maintain close working relationships with key ACC Board members » Take the lead on Investment Group preparations for public engagements and reporting documents What we need from you to be prosperous will include the following: » A deep level of practice in the full range of corporate communications, including media relations, issues management, government relations, internal communications and modern communications and engagement strategies » Work with the Manager Employee Communications to support the development of employee communications regarding ACC’s Investments » Solid knowledge of the investment market and the commercial environment, and ideally first-hand practice in a listed company/capital markets environment » Exceptional relationship management, negotiation and influencing expertise, with practice working with individuals at a senior level » A strategic thinker able to balance the big picture with execution and delivery alongside the agility to be responsive to changing needs This is your opportunity to continue your Investor Relations career with one of New Zealand’s largest and strongest investment teams.
