Engage the spirit of way finder, to draw on established practice and integrate emergent practice to develop, coach and grow Pasifika capcapability across the organisation.
Engage the spirit of collectiveness and reciprocity, to create community ownership that helps translate ideas to actions and guide collective practice to elevate collective results for Auckland Pasifika.
As PasifikaSpecialist, will seek to activate the rich wisdom of ancestral and indigenous knowledges thatpromotes a culture of co-production and collaborative participation in the team and in the community.

Your practice finds its roots in the lived practice of the indigenous world.
You operate from a sensed knowledge of Mana Atua, Mana Tangata, Mana Whenua and hold a deep value of and proficiency for manaakitanga.
Reciprocity and mutuality are strong features of your engagement style and can be seen in how you undertake ako and how you recognise and nourish le/te v?
Your basket is woven from the practices of facilitation, capcapability building, participatory programming, community development, research and evaluation.
You are ready to develop a practice for social impact from a heart of indigenous values and methodologies, grounded in kaitiakitanga and activated to the benefit of the social, cultural, economic and environmental wellbeing of the Pasifika's T?maki Makaurau community.

this function will work in the Connected Communities Department located in our Pasifika Success team offering 40 hours per week.
