About our group and team Sector Enablement and Support work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, skills and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential. We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people. About this function We’re looking for a highly practiced Executive adjunct (EA) to support to our Associate Deputy Secretary, Strategy and Implementation. this function acts as a trusted advisor and requires a person with sound judgement who can make decisions on behalf of the Associate Deputy Secretary when required. The function entails full executive management support such as diary and workflow management, advice, administrative and planning support. As part of the Strategy and Implementation leadership abilities team, you will join a group of highly capable and supportive colleagues who are actively contributing to the future of tamariki all over New Zealand. this function performs a wide variety of at times complex administration, coordination and responsibilities, which requires considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact and independent judgement. About you You will have proven significant practice relative to the function, ideally within the public sector. You will be an practiced, confident and competent EA who knows what Information technology takes to support a senior leader. It’s important to us that you’re comfortable working autonomously in an ambiguous environment and that you can meet the demands of this function with your capability to make sound decisions on behalf of the Associate Deputy Secretary.
