The School of Medical Sciences and School of Pharmacy within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences seeks a positive and efficient Group Services Administrator with a focus on stakeholder service. The purpose of this function is to work as a member of the Group Services team providing administrative support for the School's teaching and academic activities. You will undertake a range of activities primarily focused around teaching support and course administration, including assessment and examination administration for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These are core activities with processes driven by the University's teaching schedule and deadlines. You may be required to provide support to other Schools within the Faculty when the need arise. To succeed in this function, you will need the following expertise and practice: » Some administration practice, ideally gained in a tertiary environment. » Competent in software packages such as Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel) and Adobe Suite (especially Acrobat Pro). Preferably with some formal education in (or in the process of achieving) information technology. Basic expertise in web technologies would be an advantage. » Immaculate attention to detail, with excellent organisational expertise and the capability to effectively manage a busy workload; » Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication expertise, as you will be working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team with an outstanding customer focus for the school's key stakeholders. » This position is permanent term, full time 37.5 hours per week, located at our Grafton campus.
