   »Join us to support the delivery of training activities for the construction sector with the Jobs and expertise Hub
   »Remuneration range $94,834 – $115,908
We are pursuing an practiced, energetic Jobs and expertise Hub Training Facilitator to identify, support and coordinate training results including apprenticeships to meet trainee and employer needs.
Construction is a key industry for the delivery of the Government’s priorities and currently the construction industry does not have the skilled domestic workforce needed to build at pace and scale. Jobs and expertise Hubs are one response to covering labour and expertise shortages.
As the Training Facilitator this function will be a key pillar for a ‘one stop shop’ service approach for industry in relation to on-site training, promoting the investment in industry training and being a voice for trainee and employer needs. The function supervises and co-ordinates innovative training activities to ensure the workforce development needs are met and encourages an industry wide training culture. There is a clear focus on remaining learner and employer centric in delivery and support including alignment to pastoral care of learners.
For this function, ideally you will bring;
   » practice in construction industry training and/or tertiary education
   » A sound knowledge of NZQA and Qualification framework
   » Strong relationship management expertise with proven capability to build and maintain key relationships
   » The capability to demonstrate initiative and take ownership
   » Sound communication expertise, including well-developed written and presentation expertise
   » High level of attention to detail with the capability work well under pressure
   » Passion in working with diverse stakeholders and communities
   » A good level of computer literacy
