Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: » Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports. » Conduct financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. » Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting: » Collaborate with management to develop and manage budgets. » Provide guidance on financial forecasts and assist in strategic planning. Tax Compliance: » Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations. » Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments. Team Leadership: » Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. » Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Process Improvement: » Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. » Implement best practices to enhance the overall accounting function. Qualifications: » Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. » Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA, etc.). » 3-4 years of experience as an Intermediate Accountant. » 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role. » Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. » Proficient in relevant accounting software. Skills and Attributes: » Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. » Strong attention to detail and accuracy. » Effective communication and interpersonal skills. » Ability to work independently and as part of a team. » Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
