Together we are currently seeking a candidate for the function of Ticketing & Front of House Coordinator. This is an opportunity for the right person to build their capabilities in this area, and make a contribution to the live performance scene here in T?maki Makaurau.This is a part-time function set at 20 hours per week, with set hours to be agreed, and the potential for the function to become permanent.They will report to Basement's Operations Manager and will also work closely with the Marketing & Relationships Manager, Programme Manager, the Bar & Front of House Manager & Venue Host team. The ideal start date is Monday 12th September, 2022. The contractfinishes at the end of February, however, there may be the opportunity to continue working permanently after this. Candidates for this function will be highly organised and detail oriented, and be passionate about providing audiences with an exceptional practice in planning for, and attending, events at Basement Theatre. They will have box office, front of house or arts administration/producing practice and understand the importance of warm, proactive and professional communication, both in dealing with audiences and liaising with hirers. They will of course have a genuine passion for live performance, will enjoy working collaboratively in an intimate small team setting, and will understand the importance of centering and nurturing relationships in a mana-enhancing workplace. It is also very important to us that our team members hold a strong knowledge of what cultural and community safety means and looks like in the arts. Candidates will align with our organisation's desire to activate authentic cultural intersectionality, will hold community equity as a core driver in their work, and will confidently contribute to a work environment that aspires toward the bicultural partnership within Te Tiriti ? In the Ticketing & Front of House Coordinator function, you will: » Manage all ticketing listings and processes with the support of our ticketing provider » Manage event listings on the website » Support the ticketing needs of hirers and producers » Manage the ticketing implications of show cancellations or postponements » Manage all opening night and season complimentary lists and house seats » Manage patron ticketing issues, such as refunds or transfers » Give weekly box office updates to Basement's office and venue teams » Train Venue Hosts in iTicket and Basement box office and front of house systems » Support continual improvement of the functionality of the ticketing platform » contact with producers and hirers about Front of House needs » Respond to customer complaints, queries and feedback received via email and phone during the day » Work with programming and venue staff to plan for smooth delivery in the Front of House space and provide briefing information for Front of House staff » Monitor and respond to all communications coming through Basment's ?info? email address, as well as acting as first port of call on Basement's phone line » Support delivery of audience accessibility initiatives related to ticketing, communications and Front of House » Support surveying and analysis and reporting on audience data » Support creation of artist resources and guides » Support the maintenance and growth of customer databases and mailing lists.
