He angit?tanga: The opportunity
Te Kaunihera o T?maki Makaurau is committed to meeting its responsibilities under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its broader obligations to M?ori. To do this, we need our staff to have the cultural capcapability to deliver on these commitments in their day-to-day work and be able to respond effectively to the needs and aspirations of M?ori.
We have a great opportunity to join the M?ori results team in our Regional Services and Strategy unit. As Cultural Capcapability Programme Lead you will direct the development and implementation of a work programme across Customer & Community Services (C&CS), ensuring an integrated approach across the wider organisation.
Working closely with other capcapability functions in C&CS, you will provide insight and thought leadership abilities for the identification and development of the competencies and behaviours required to develop a capable workforce.

We are seeking for someone who is passionate about cultural capcapability and is committed to delivering results for M?ori. Your previous practice of developing learning programmes with a proven track record of lifting capcapability in the workplace, will be highly valued.
You will apply your knowledge of te reo M?ori me ?na tikanga, and te ao M?ori in your mahi. You will be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships, with a wide variety of stakeholders. A Bachelor level qualification in M?ori related disciplines or equivalent cultural capcapability practice in similar functions is required. practice in adult learning, or an education background would be advantageous.
