Specifically, working under the banner of our Technology Portfolio, We are pursuing a Scrum Lead for Cloud Capcapability Programme of work. About the function: Over the last five years we have been evolving our delivery approach to be agile at scale and We are seeking for talented Scrum Lead's to join our dynamic IST team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of New Zealand's largest Information technology groups and be the motivational force that empowers our teams to meet delivery goals and increase product capabilities and services to our clients. As a Scrum Lead you will be responsible across several key areas that include: » Supporting teams in Agile practices, ensuring they are aware of their respective functions and how to fulfil them and they understand our organisational goals » Organizing and facilitating team events » Contributing to growing the capcapability of team members ensuring they can respond to changing demands to keep activities running smoothly i.e; system's thinking. » Collaborating with the Technology People Leaders to ensure the teams are resourced for efficient delivery » Attending organizational ceremonies » User story management alongside business analysts » Working with Product Owners to prioritize work » Backlog grooming with teams » Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Ministry expertise Required: » Highly motivated, self-starting, excellent team player » Strong practice in Agile methodologies is essential » Previous practice as a Scrum Lead is essential » Demonstrated practice in agile software development delivery or other significant practice » Excellent facilitation, collaboration, communication, and relationship management expertise » practice in leading technical conversations, adapting where appropriate to suit non-technical audiences » practice working in complex environments, managing multiple stakeholders, and negotiating constructive results with competing priorities. » practice with influencing and motivating teams This is a prime opportunity for an internal Scrum Lead, or a person wishing to discover the function further, to work with the Cloud Capcapability Program Team.
