   » This is a rare opportunity for a solicitor to gain exposure to the wide variety of interesting work we do at Te Tari Taiwhenua, whilst being supported by our close-knit Legal Team.
   » Te Tari Taiwhenua Legal Services Team consists of two teams, the Policy and Regulatory Team and the Commercial and Corporate Law team. this function is for a permanent solicitor in the Policy and Regulatory Team, and you will be joining our team of 8 practiced public lawyers.
   » We are seeking for an ambitious and adaptable public lawyer who can provide high quality advice across all areas of the Department's work, including:
   » Providing operational advice on investigations across a range of regulatory systems (including gambling, digital safety and anti-money laundering)
   » Advising on complex operational decision-making
   » Advising on prosecution files and managing prosecutions, including prosecutions relating to online child sexual exploitation material
   » Preparing drafting instructions on departmental bills and supporting the development and passage of legislation
   » Assisting with briefings to Ministers and their offices on legal risks.
