SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - URGENT SHORT TERM ASSIGNMENT » 3-month contract with potential for extension » Highly engaged organisation with strong values » Report to empowering and engaging Programme Director This is a "game changing"business transformation project that will see youinvolved in amajor transformation within a national sector. We're looking for a senior level Project Managerwho has strong technical project management expertise, so you will need to bedegree qualified, with proven practice in NZ and you'll also need PM qualifications either as a Prince2 and MSP practitioner. It's likely you'll have a minimumof 10 years direct work practice in a senior project management capacity, including all aspects of diligence project planning, possess exceptional attention to detail and superior interpersonal expertise able to manage the complexity connected with multiple stakeholders - therefore great communication expertise will be critical. You will have general project management responsibilities including managing and coordinating activities, engaging with stakeholders across a national sector and ensuring that project activities are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. You will have very strong financial reporting and information collating expertise, from data/information gathered from a wide variety of external stakeholder organisations. Being a multi stakeholder transformation project just getting off the ground, you will be highly resilient and able to deal with ambiguity and flex to changing demands. You'll need strong persuasive and clearcommunication expertise, both with the written word, as well as verbal. The project is at initiation stage, so great for a talent PM to have input into the planning rather than inherit someone else's plan! The organisation is change ready, approval in place for the project funding and now we need a Senior Project Manage to plan, engage, drive and manage via a well-defined delivery methodology.
